In this shared space, we dedicate ourselves to holistic health as the compass for your sense of purpose. We learn to understand: pain on your path is not an error, but a "feature." Together, we build a healthy relationship with this teacher and change the narrative: What are you telling yourself about what is happening to you right now?

Identity is not a product of chance, but the result of symbols and stories that have often accompanied us since childhood—intergenerational, familial, or hidden deep within. This retreat is an invitation to take over the director's chair. We come together to explore the significance of your individual story across many dimensions: physical, psychological, and emotional.

My approach is based on a Triad of Transformation that paves the way from unconscious burdens toward creative freedom. This three-part structure follows the universal logic of the Hero’s Journey and creates a stable foundation for genuine change.

Play: Returning to Authentic Joy

Once the old roles are cast aside, "Play" begins—the space of possibility where you reclaim the director's chair. We use the raw energy of São Miguel as a catalyst to isolate you from the narrative static of your everyday life.

  • Ease Over Willpower: Instead of forcing yourself through pure discipline, you learn to follow what brings you joy so that success comes naturally and becomes a form of lightness.

In our joint sessions, we dive deep into integrative health. We leave the level of superficial tips behind and work our way through the universal hierarchy of well-being. Everything begins with the question: What do you love so much that you are willing to change for it? "1 Love" is your dream, your overarching goal. Without this focus, every discipline is merely pure willpower, which eventually becomes exhausted. We define what you are optimizing your system for.

2 Forces: The Law of Polarity
Life is a constant dance between Yin and Yang – between building up and consumption, rest and activity. We analyze how these two forces act in your life. Are you in a "burn-and-build" balance, or are you burning more than you are regenerating? You learn to read the signs of your body before the system collapses.

3 Choices: The Power of Decision
Every moment offers three possibilities: You can make an optimal decision, a suboptimal one (which satisfies you in the short term but weakens you in the long term), or no decision at all (which is the worst choice). We sharpen your awareness for these daily course settings so that you reclaim responsibility for your system.

4 Doctors: Your Internal Expert Team
You already carry the best doctors in the world within you. We learn how you consult them:

We examine how you perceive the world. Your senses are the interfaces of your system. We learn how to filter stimuli and train our perception to recognize stressors early and to absorb the raw beauty of São Miguel unfiltered.

6 Foundation Principles: The Biological Basis
Finally, we bring everything together in the six practical pillars that form your daily foundation: Thinking, Breathing, Hydration, Nutrition, Movement, and Sleep. You understand the synergies between these points—for example, how your breathing influences your digestion and your thinking determines your posture

Who is Tarkan?

Imagine a place where most people look away, because they fear the silence and the truth that lurk there.

For a long time, I was part of a grand performance theater.

I played a role assigned to me by a world.

I lived according to the scripts of others, carrying intergenerational narratives and family patterns like a burden, without realizing they were slowly suffocating me. I was deaf to my own authentic will and blind to the signals my body was sending me.

At some point, through a gradual awakening, I approached my truth. It was a collapse of the old world. In this blackness, where the old roles no longer had value, I found my actual gift: the ability to recognize the invisible threads that direct us. I stopped fighting the shadows and started dancing with them.

I learned that pain is not the problem, but a wise teacher that leads us back to the truth. I am fully human, imperfectly, completely alive, and ready to let the masks fall.

Wir schauen uns die Mechanik und die Signale deines Körpers an, um zu verstehen, warum der Schmerz gerade hämmert.

1. Stress-Audit & HLC-Interviews: Die Chemie hinter der Fassade Hier gehen wir in die Tiefe deiner Belastbarkeit. Durch gezielte HLC-Interviews (Holistic Lifestyle Coaching) und eine detaillierte Stresslevelbemessung bestimmen wir dein „allostatisches Konto“. Wir analysieren, ob dein Nervensystem im Überlebensmodus feststeckt und wie dein hormonelles Gleichgewicht auf deine Lebensumstände reagiert. Erst wenn wir wissen, wie viel Stress dein System aktuell verarbeiten kann, designen wir die Intensität deiner Veränderung. Ohne diese Messung ist jedes Training nur ein weiterer Stressfaktor.

2. Haltungs-Check: Stell dir deinen Körper wie ein Haus vor. Wenn das Fundament schief ist, klemmen irgendwann oben die Türen. Wir analysieren deine Haltung im Stehen und in der Bewegung. Wo weicht deine Wirbelsäule von ihrer natürlichen Kraftlinie ab? Wo entstehen unnötige Spannungen? Wir finden heraus, welche Muskeln zu fest sind und welche schlafen, damit du dich wieder ohne Reibungsverluste bewegen kannst.

3. Core-Stabilität: Ein starker Rücken braucht ein funktionierendes Zentrum. Wir testen deine „innere Einheit“. Das ist eine Gruppe tiefsitzender Muskeln, die deine Wirbelsäule schützen, noch bevor du einen Arm oder ein Bein bewegst. Viele Menschen haben zwar eine starke äußere Muskulatur, aber eine „stumme“ Mitte. Wir prüfen, ob dein Timing stimmt, damit Kraftübertragung wieder sicher und schmerzfrei funktioniert.

4. Organe und Reflexe: Dein Körper ist ein hochsensibles Netzwerk. Oft liegt die Ursache für Rückenschmerzen oder chronische Verspannungen nicht im Muskel selbst, sondern in deinen inneren Organen oder deinem Verdauungssystem. Über sogenannte Reflexbögen sendet ein gestresstes Organ Signale an die Muskulatur und schaltet diese ab oder verspannt sie. Wir nutzen das CHEK-Protokoll, um diese Zusammenhänge zwischen Ernährung, Stress und körperlichem Schmerz sichtbar zu machen.

5. Die 6 Basis-Prinzipien: Dein biologisches Budget Wir gleichen deinen Alltag mit den sechs Grundpfeilern der Gesundheit ab: Schlaf, Wasser, Ernährung, Denken, Atmung und Bewegung. Wir finden heraus, wo du Energie verlierst und wo wir dein System unterstützen müssen, damit es überhaupt die Kraft für eine Transformation hat. Es geht nicht um Perfektion, sondern darum, die Spielregeln deiner eigenen Biologie zu verstehen.

The island of São Miguel is one of the nine islands of the Azores and is known as "the green island" due to its lush nature and ecosystems found on every side of the island.

It is the most important and largest island of the archipelago and will delight you with its variety of activities: hiking to waterfalls, forests, and lakes, swimming at white and black sand beaches, surfing, and bathing in natural hot springs are just some of the many outdoor activities we will enjoy here on this magical island!

The Laughing Orchard

Ein abgeschiedener Rückzugsort im Vulkankrater von Furnas auf São Miguel, Azoren.

Das Orchard lädt neugierige Menschen ein, sich mit dem Land zu verbinden – die rohe Schönheit und die liebevolle Umarmung der Natur zu spüren – getragen von Respekt, Demut und Ehrfurcht vor dem Leben.

Im Laughing Orchard gibt sowohl Innen- als auch Außenbereiche (7x4m),
die speziell für Yoga, Meditation und Gruppenaktivitäten konzipiert sind.

Das Zentrum bietet komfortable Unterkünfte in zwei geräumigen Häusern und zwei privaten Hütten. Ein friedlicher Aufenthalt inmitten der Natur – der ideale Ort für Ruhe und Entspannung.
